Right now the business is doing final confirmations with Auto GR. The components sometimes are not backflushed or partially goods issued (Reasons are plenty - the infamous master data inconsistencies, manual release with MSPT!!!). And we are making every effort to correct that. Also running COOIS report to identify production orders with CNF and DLV but has open quantity on components.
But we have batch jobs to TECO production orders that has status CNF & DLV. Now the problem is, these batch jobs started TECOing the production orders that has open quantity on the components. Now that's an issue.
If components goods issue is not complete on a production order, I’m trying to find out a way to –
Restrict ‘Final confirmations or Delivery’ (must not do CO11N) or Restrict ‘TECO’ status by user status (so that we can catch those production orders in the TECO batch job error log)
Example: throw an exception message like “TECO not possible. Component ‘XYZ’ has open quantity”
I’m really having a hard time to restrict or apply a status to production order based on the components goods issue.
