Proceed with the same steps. If you want to maintain with initial status, then maintain the From Number as the number which you want to start with OR go to OMBT - Status tab and maintain the current number as required.
If you insert new number range in the middle of an year, then you will get a message saying that already material doc generated for the year. If you ignore the message, the new material documents will be of based on the new number range assigned to the year. There wont be any other serious impact on material doc side.
