Thanks a lot  for the support. The Application seems to be working fine now.It does give the screen shown by Rob in the earlier message.

For the benefit of those who may face this issue i'm summarising the additions we made:

• Our System was not having the proper mapping of id. to Host.
• We activated the Service : SAP -> PUBLIC -> MYSSOCNTL through SICF.
