I believe that you need to check the SCOT (Transaction Code) as well.
Once you are in SCOT Transaction; drop down the System. You will find INT node and within INT -> there is SMTP node configuration.
Select that SMTP node and click on the change. Now check in the block - 'Supported address Type'.
You can see INTERNET as checked. Then hit on the SET pushbutton and maintain the email address in the Address area to whom you want to send the PDF copy. Also check the Output formats for SAP script / Smart forms.
