Or do this. I followed these steps when i had an issue. It worked.

1. Go to the Information Design Tool local cache present in the directory C:/Users/<user_name>/.businessobjects/bimodeler_14
2. Take a backup of the bimodeler_14 folder
3. Delete the bimodeler_14 folder
4. Login into Information Design Tool
