Matching Mode plays quiet a vital role in de-duplication process for SAP MDM. On the basis of matching scores, we can find whether the records are dupliacte or not. If so, we can merge the duplicate record so that the repository will contain no duplicates.
So,to perform all those necessary operations SAP MDM leverages us with entirely different mode named as matching. In which we can create our own rules and strategies to found the duplicates.
Steps which require to be followed:-
1. Create transformation.
2. Create Rule
3. Create and run the Strategy(including the rule, created above)
You can define the success and failure score as well as different thresholds to identify the duplicates.
later on you can merge the dupliactes through Merge tab in matching mode itself.
