Great point 
! Back in the day (2005?), when we moderated the ability to even begin to post a newbie blog, we asked people to outline what it was they thought they would write about. Not that I mourn those bygone days, but there was something to be said for "think before you post" and adding a comment that doesn't add value to the conversation is much the same as blogging about your puppies (or is it kittens?) see Why don't they let me blog? for reference.
